Partnership isn't just something we believe in or create for our clients - it's built into how McDowell Partnerships works too.

We work in partnership with our clients, alongside other advisors and professionals and with a wider network of organisations and expertise. It means we can bring together the right people, ideas and experience around what you are trying to achieve, rather than assuming one person or organisation has all the answers.

Partnership is part of how we work.

Our Clients

Different organisations.
Similar challenges.

We work with organisations of different sizes, structures and sectors. What matters most isn't what type of organisation you are, but what you are trying to build, change, resolve or improve.

Commercial businesses

Working with owners, leadership teams and businesses on direction, teams, customers, growth and change.

Membership organisations

Strengthening the organisation itself or developing the products, services and programmes it provides to members.

Advisors, consultancies & professional services

Working with you on your own business, alongside you with your clients, or independently with your clients where greater clarity is needed before your work can begin.

That might mean helping a leadership team agree a clearer brief before a marketing, design or recruitment agency starts work, building a more robust plan for a bank or funder, or providing specialist facilitation, expertise or capacity that complements your existing client relationship.

Charities & Not-for-profit

Helping boards, leaders and teams create clarity, alignment and practical plans for what comes next.

Our Delivery

Work can be delivered in person or online. Sometimes I lead the work, sometimes I work alongside your existing team or advisors, and sometimes I bring in additional expertise from my network.

The approach depends on what you are trying to achieve. We agree the relationship and boundaries from the outset, bring together the right people and expertise, and build the approach around what you or your client actually needs.

Ways we can work together

  • Workshops and facilitation - bringing people and ideas together to build plans, alignment and a way forward.

  • Consultancy and advice - commercial thinking, business analysis, propositions, customers and growth.

  • Coaching, mentoring and development - building individual and team capability and confidence.

  • Project, interim or fractional support - adding experience and capacity to help turn plans into action.

  • White-labelled or co-branded delivery - adding capability to an existing client offer.

  • Connections and specialist expertise - bringing in the right people from a wider UK and international network.

  • Joint development - creating programmes, workshops or propositions together.

Our Partners

Our work is strengthened by the organisations we partner with and an extensive network of people and expertise across the UK and internationally.

Our partners bring complementary skills, knowledge and reach to our own. Where the right answer requires expertise beyond our own, we bring the right people together for the right reason - creating a joined-up approach around what the client needs.

Our wider network extends beyond these partnerships, giving us access to additional expertise, insight and connections when they can add value.

“Working with Vicky brought valuable external perspective and experience to our business at an important time. She quickly developed a strong understanding of our organisation and was able to identify key priorities, ask the right questions and challenge our thinking in a constructive way. Vicky combines commercial awareness with strategic insight, helping us look at issues from different angles while keeping customers and business outcomes in focus. Her contribution provided granularity and clarity on a number of complex areas and supported the leadership team in making informed decisions.

I would happily recommend Vicky and McDowell Partnerships to organisations looking for experienced strategic support, constructive coaching ideas, and independent challenge.”
